Event Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms and Conditions:

By participating in the Kenya Innovation Week 2023 - Commonwealth Edition (hereinafter referred to as "the Event"), all exhibitors and delegates agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

2. Registration and Participation:

2.1 Registration:

- All exhibitors and delegates must complete the registration process to participate in the Event.

- The registration fee is non-refundable.

- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and limited spots are available.

- Kenya Innovation Week 2023 reserves the right to accept or reject any registration at its sole discretion.

2.2 Delegate Badges:

- Delegates must wear their provided event badges at all times during the Event for security and identification purposes.

- Lost or stolen badges must be reported immediately to event organizers and may be replaced at the discretion of the event management team.

2.3 Exhibitor Booths:

- Exhibitors must adhere to booth specifications provided by event organizers.

- Exhibitors are responsible for the security of their booth equipment and materials.

- Exhibitor booths are to be staffed during event hours.

3. Event Conduct and Compliance:

3.1 Code of Conduct:

- All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

- Harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

3.2 Compliance with Laws:

- All participants must comply with local, national, and international laws and regulations.

4. Intellectual Property:

- All participants shall respect the intellectual property rights of others.

- Event organizers are not responsible for the protection of intellectual property rights of participants and encourage exhibitors to secure any necessary intellectual property protections themselves.



5. Privacy and Data Collection:

- By participating in the Event, all delegates and exhibitors consent to the collection and use of their personal information by event organizers for event-related communication and promotional purposes.

- Event organizers will take reasonable measures to protect the privacy of participants, but cannot be held responsible for data breaches or unauthorized access.

6. Photography and Recording:

- Event organizers may take photographs and record video or audio during the Event. By participating, participants grant event organizers the right to use these materials for marketing and promotional purposes.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

- Cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted to event organizers.

- Refunds for cancellations are subject to the following:

- Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.

- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event: No refunds will be issued.

- Substitutions are allowed and must be communicated to event organizers in writing.

8. Event Changes and Cancellations:

- Event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Event schedule, format, or venue at their discretion.

- In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, event organizers may cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event. In such cases, registration fees will be refunded to the extent possible.

9. Liability:

- Event organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants during the Event.

- Participants are encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage as necessary.

10. Governing Law:

- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya.

By participating in the Kenya Innovation Week 2023 - Commonwealth Edition, all exhibitors and delegates acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
